Sharry People Development approach to Leadership and Talent Development Programmes
Sharry People Development believe that successful leadership development programmes
should be customised for each organisation. The areas covered are chosen
from our extensive range of leadership topics. We then include organisation specific
case studies, branding and initiatives to ensure senior management involvement. Integration of the organisations strategy, goals, competencies and values may also play a key role in designing the programme. The main principles and approach are outlined below.
- Initial diagnostic and design exercise to tailor the programme to client specific
requirements
- Leadership programme may be branded in line with organisation colours,
logos and culture
- Option for briefing session for senior management to ensure full support for
the programme
- Programme launched by managing director and/or other members of the
senior management team
- Option to include pre and post workshop reading material
- Option for 1 to 1 coaching sessions throughout the programme
- Typical structure: 2 day workshops – min. 6 weeks between workshops
- Exact length of the programme is agreed after the diagnostic exercise
- Suggested number of participants per programme is 12
- Final programme content sign-off by client
- First programme is run as a pilot with any required changes built into subsequent programmes
- Agree initiatives to ensure learning is implemented back at work
